Benefits for you:
Kate Cocks Community Children's Centre, being community based, gives parents the opportunity to participate in, and have control of, the Centre.
Parents/guardians can have a hand in determining financial expenditure, programs offered, staff employed and setting of priorities.
Programs provided for the children are more likely to reflect their needs because of this parental involvement.
Costs are contained because parents using the Centre and paying the fees are responsible, as Governance Committee members, for formulating the Centre’s budget and setting the fees.
The Centre also offers Child Care Subsides schemes to eligible families. To apply you would need to go to https://my.gov.au/ login to your account and apply for these subsidies.
