Melissa Alyward has been an educator for the past 32 year and 18 years as a Director which saw her land at Kate Cocks CCC 5 years ago.

​

Melissa believes in having strong community connections which sees her take on many different roles.  It also means our children are building stronger bonds with their local community as they get out and about visiting the local nursing home, park, beach and shops.

 

Melissa serves on many different Boards and Committees but none more important than her role as Chairperson with Community Children's Centres SA. It is from here that Kate Cocks CCC benefits from the knowledge and experience of the National Laws, Regulations, Standards and Learning Frameworks.

Melissa's passion for continuous improvement, growth and staff development sees her bringing in new ideas, parent opportunity for feedback and staff involvement at the centre.

Melissa works side by side with the Assistant Director to continue the growth and status of our service and to maintain our Exceeding Rating.
